Vacation Part Two | Personal
August 13, 2019 , Personal
Here is part two of our family vacation and this one is all from our phones. I honestly didn’t get my camera out much intentionally. There was one day that I said, “Ok, I am going to take 5 min of photos”. I tried to capture as much as I can in this five minutes and I did! I did that a few times through out the trip and it was all I needed to hold those moments forever. If you are a photographer I encourage you to take your camera on personal trips but not to live behind it. Take 5 minutes and capture it the way you want and then move on. I am so glad I did but for the most part I lived and enjoyed our time together. Here are those moments though that we had a phone and captured what we could.
Andrew and I went out for a date night and traveled over to Captiva and Sanibel. We fell in love. I am so glad we went over there and got to enjoy a night together before we headed home!
So tips I learned traveling this time as a family of 5:
- Fire – FreeTime is life for kids! So nice to control what they watch, and download things for the plane or car.
- InstaCart saved my life and I had groceries there waiting for us! Saved so much time and money!
- Care.com is amazing when you need a sitter on vacation!
- Snacks….thats always my secret. The more snacks the better.
I’ll share more later but for now, that’s all I have!
