Aydah Joy is 10 Months | Personal
January 29, 2018 , Personal
“I can’t believe it” has come out of our mouth more times than I can count the last few days. How in the world is Aydah already almost one? It is funny what happens when you wait for something for so long. I think your brain has a hard time picking up on what is going on. I can’t believe two years ago I felt like it was in our cards to just have one baby and be done. Now here we are are and our little miracle girl number two is almost one. Want to know something else true? We REALLY wanted a boy but we knew to not be sad about her being a girl. Emlyn was an easy baby and a great baby but I feel like she quickly became a daddies girl around 6 months. Our personalities to this day still kind of clash. I hear that is normal. I thought another girl would equal another baby just like Emlyn and Aydah is the farthest from that!
Aydah is so full of life. I think all babies are to an extent but there was always something about her even as a newborn. Even when I was pregnant with her I would dream of her and think go flowers and sunshine. I am not a girlie girl so this made me think it had to be her. We named her Aydah – which spelled this way means one to bring light or clarity. It also means to make something clear. Her middle name is JOY and that is obvious what that means ha! We just KNEW with her name that JOY was it! We said the name once and never rethought it. She is a JOYFUL baby and has a sass to her of course but it is like she is trying to communicate. I have said since she was born that this girl is a very effective communicatorr! lol! Here she is ten months old and we are almost hitting 10 words in her vocabulary!
I grabbed photos of her for LITERALLY five minutes and this should show you who busy a 10 month is! HA! I started off moving her big toys out of her room so that I could take pictures of her on the rug. She didn’t like that and wanted her toys back. So here she is STANDING on the gate! Ha!
I attempted to capture her being still so I gave her a book!
Then I took the book away! so she tried to escape and gave me raspberries!
Not yet! Mommy can make you smile!
In the crib you go wild woman! Get ready for all the expressions because she loves to jump up and down in her crib and bite the railings!
Ok! No more of that! She wanted to play. Cribs are for bedtime not playing ha!
Aydah is pretty average in her height and weight, She is 19lbs and 23inches. She still has a big head though! 😛 We love her to pieces. I guess we should start planning her first birthday party!
Sharing, serving, and celebrating,
