Who would have thought that this past Saturday it would dive down into the 30’s again and SNOW? We thought for sure Nate and Julie would have a nice, warm, spring day and it turned out the exact opposite. These two never let it phase them though. I loved Nate’s attitude from the second we walked in. Some of the details weren’t in place yet and his bride-to-be was a little off schedule but he was happy to help and do whatever he could to help move things along. Julie came in later than she wanted but she remained calm and moved right forward. After all the weddings we have shot I have learned that the amount of patience a couple has through out their day is a good reflection of what their marriage will look like. I love seeing a couple that is so rooted in the fact that they love each other and they are just happy to celebrate. Nate and Julie truly had their priorities straight for their wedding and that was each other. We were so honored to capture them as they walked into their DAY ONE as husband and wife!
Julie is a pretty laid back and simple girl but the vintage jewelry she bought had my heart skipping beats. I adore the cracks in it and how bright it is. I loved that she wasn’t afraid to just be bold and wear something she liked!
Her engagement ring wins for one of the most unique I have ever shot. The vintage shapes are just beautiful!
Nate and his friend serve in the Navy and it seemed only fitting for Julie and Nate to get married at The American Legion. Through out the day the guys always noticed where a flag was and had such an excitement about it. How many times do we walk right past a flag and not acknowledge it or remember? These guys truly gave me a reminder that the flag is there to remind us of a our freedom and all those who have and still do fight for it!
Again, Julie went for what she likes and I LOVE that about her! This feather barrette was so her!
I am not sure if you can tell but these groomsmen were a handful! We had so much fun teasing them through out the day!
WARNING! You will see a lot of pictures of adorable little girls! We both couldn’t help it!
Has snow ever looked so pretty? I mean TULIPS and SNOW?
This picture is one of my favorites! So classic!
Nate nailed the picture on the left! He is SO not a serious guy and was quite the goof for pictures! He must have licked Julie 30 times during portraits.
Had to throw Dj Joe in here from Encore L’amore
Do they get any cuter?
Thank you to Dj Joe for taking a photo of us with our “big” camera!
Sharing, serving, and celebrating,
