Last year Christmas looked a little different for us. It was our first Christmas back in Ohio and we lived with  a family from our church! This year was a special treat for us to be able to get all our decorations out and have our family Christmas time. We started off with Christmas Eve. Emmy and I baked for four hours straight! We baked sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, and a cake to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus! Then we got ready for church and had a quick photo session all cleaned up!

Emmy actually slept in a little bit, that is 7:20am for us! We were impressed by that and the fact she didn’t start opening presents by herself! She did great! She has total bed head and I love it! haha!

A few months ago we were out of town and Em left her favorite Tigey stuffed animal at a park. When she went back to get it someone had already taken it. It was a sad day for us all but she bought her little Finn puppy you see in the pictures above and has grown attached to him too. For Christmas we didn’t find the EXACT Tigey but we just told her it was Tigey all grown up! She loves him and slept with him last night!

She loves anything Tiger so the hat was a win!

We got her coat on after opening all our gifts here because Santa had dropped something off at Mimi and Pop Pops house around the corner!

Then we headed to Andrews mom for brunch with his family! Emlyn wanted to make fruit kabobs and they were delicious!

We took some portraits at the end of our time! This is Andrew’s twin sister, boyfriend Billy and her son Colt. All in their coordinating Cavs colors for the big game! haha!

Andrew’s mom and sister have shared parenting of that little Dachshund! His name is Benjamin but he has about a million nick names!

We finished the night with my dad playing on his guitar. We sang some Christmas carols and some oldies! Emmy loved dancing and singing with her Pop-Pop!

We hope you and your family had a great Christmas full of family and joy! Presents are nice but the memories and joy we get to share is what makes it all so special!

Sharing, serving, and celebrating,

Andrew + Chrissy
