Clearwater Beach Trip
October 18, 2016 , Personal
We had a surprise weekend come free and looking at a week schedule with nothing important I couldn’t help but beg Andrew for a beach trip. Life is surely about to change for us with adding another little one and I couldn’t help but think it would be nice to spend a little time traveling with Em before it becomes traveling with “the girls”. She had a big birthday and I did too so daddy was excited to take us. Andrew was super excited to Emlyn’s reaction to flying on a plane for the first time and she did amazing.
One thing I never do good at is remembering my BIG camera everywhere we go so this post is mixed in with tons of iPhone photos as well! Bonus points if you can tell which is which! ha!
The picture on the left is her seeing the plane before we boarded in Columbus. She was so expressive, everyone was cracking up at her.
Momma’s drink was virgin.. no worries!
We decided to take one day and venture around. Andrew was stoked to go to the aquarium. If you need to know anything about Andrew it is this. He is ALL in. We have to do it all if we are going to do anything. So we toured the aquarium AND went on a 70 minute dolphin cruise. It was AWESOME! We thought we weren’t going to see any dolphins but right towards the end Andrew spotted a few and with in a minute one was swimming right by the boat where Emlyn could see. It was very exciting!
Tampa Bay is beautiful! P.s. They have a dog beach.. We were missing our Finn!
We loved the aquarium but daddy has two little beach babes on his hands so we finished the evening off back down at the beach!
We had ice-cream twice, SCORE! And the fact that the playground is IN the sand right on the beach was amazing!
The picture on the right was Emlyn being impatient for mommy waiting on her Starbucks before going to the playground.
Daddy got suckered in to playing on the playground too! Ha!
We went down for our last night at the beach and realized we had lots of pictures but none of the three of us. A minute later a photographer at the hotel came over and offered a quick three minute session. We took it up and got some fun photos to end the trip! The first picture is your classic belly picture for ya!
We had a great time! We really enjoy being a little tan right now too, ha! This trip was just what we needed to clear our minds and get back to focusing on whats to come.
Sharing, serving, and celebrating,
Andrew + Chrissy
