Egor + Jill | Wedding
May 31, 2017 , Wedding
I have so much to say about this wedding so let me just find somewhere to start! Jill and Egor for sure have been one of the most authentic couples when it comes to their connection during photos. Egor adores and serves Jill and Jill respects and lights up around him. It is so obvious they love each other just by how they respond to each other. Posing these guys isn’t even a thing because they just do what they do and it is picture worthy. We knew all of this from their engagement session but we found out so much more at their wedding. Like the fact that their love and relationship is only a reflection of the tradition and love in their families. We loved the weight of two become one and the blending of families that was portrayed through out their day. These two understand that marriage is forever and every tear that was shed and word that was committed to each other you could see and feel that.
In February Jill’s family suddenly lost her mom. Her mom was a huge part in the planning of the wedding and adored Egor. Through out their wedding day Jill chose to honor her mom. There were pictures on all of the tables numbered by how old she was in the photos. There were little things on the tables to learn about her mom. We recreated some of her moms wedding photos. Needless to say I felt like Susan and I were friends by the end of the day and I never met her. The families did such an amazing job of honoring and celebrating her life.
Ok so starting the day off, Jill got ready in her parents house which was her childhood house. The room she got ready in was the perfect shade of purple! Her parents balcony is where she had taken many photos of the years so it was cool to be able to capture the dress and other photos there.
You are going to see quite a few guns in this post! Jill and Egor met through the army and a lot of their bridal party served as well.
Ego and Jill have a sweet little boy named Nicolai AKA Nico! It was so sweet to watch the grandparents with him and keeping him happy all day!
So something cool I learned was that Jill and her girls put together all of the flowers from a company called Blooms by the Box! I was so impressed!
Here is a photo of Jill’s mom. Each table had a different picture of her.
Nerf guns! The girls surprise attacked the guys for the grand entrance!
Egor and his family is from Ukraine. His mom hired a russian orchestra to play and they were unbelievable!
Jill had her dad light a candle in memory of her mom and gave a quick speech explaining why they chose to honor her this way.
