Emlyn's Art 5th Birthday Party | Personal
October 10, 2017 , Personal
Emmy has been talking about having her birthday party since her last birthday. We went from planning on having it at the gym so she could swim to a pizza party to our final landing and decision.. an art party! When we found out we were moving September 1st and then moved in September 8th we knew our new house would be the best place to have it! Once we started thinking about ideas for a party at home it didn’t take long to land on this idea! Our girl lives and breathes all things arts and crafts. She frequently gets in trouble for using her markers or crayons in the wrong places and for putting glue on the walls. I assume this is problems most people with creative children have! Ha!
With the help of Pinterest and some lifestyle blogs we gathered our ideas and came up with some new ones too. We had so much fun water coloring all the decorations before and putting food coloring in anything we possibly could!
That funfetti dip was the bomb and is so very dangerous! Cream cheese, whipped cream, milk and a box of funfetti cake mix! YUMM!
We bought all the paint, smocks, paint trays, canvas’s and paint brushes on Amazon and it was all under $70 for 12 kids.
After we painted we set up the cupcake decorating which was a huge hit!
Like we expected, almost every gift was centered around art! Emmy’s playroom is now stoked with more supplies than she could dream of!
My parents own a pizza shop and they made a special rainbow pizza just for her party!
Of course I had to sneak some of Aydah Joy in here too!
Sharing, serving, and celebrating,
