Before we officially introduce you to baby Jadd we have to jump back to two weeks before he was born! Our friend Jess from Birds Eye View Photography came over and captured some maternity photos for us. We enjoyed this session so much because we have really fallen in love with our home and this was such an exciting time as a family. I love looking back at photos when I was carrying all three of our babies. It is so surreal to think the little people we love so much now were once growing inside of me instead of outside.
That brings us to just TWO weeks later! Baby Jaddeus Andrew made his appearance a few weeks early on Friday, November 16th. He ALMOST was born on Thursday but he came a little after midnight. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long! This was my labor that I went 100% natural and I loved the experience. My husband was INCREDIBLE and yet again I am amazed at how well we work together. When he was born we thought he looked like Emyln and then we got him home and all we saw was Aydah. Now that he is 10 weeks old we think he looks like both still but he has morphed into his very own little person. He is so sweet.
I captured his newborn photos just like I did his sisters. I totally realized I am not a newborn photographer but I love the idea of my kids one day telling their kids that their grandma took these photos. It is a part of the legacy we want to leave behind and I love that photos can do that. We made a point to print books for all the kids of their photos and now I am working on printing up all my iPhone photos too.
So Jadd obviously doesn’t look like this anymore but I have so many pictures to share with you since he has been born. It was really nice to take a few months to sit back and just snuggle my babies. I wanted to blog and work but I knew it would all be there waiting for me. I am excited to share more and dive into more business topics but I thought this was a great place to start!
Sharing, serving, and celebrating,
Andrew + Chrissy
