Brody + Sam {Columbus Engagement Photos}

Sam and I went to school together. We were just one year a part. We played basketball together for a few years and then when I left public school for cyber school I didn’t see many people from school anymore. Little did I know that Sam would start working at the same place as Andrew and I, at the christian book store. She had an inside look at where it all began between Andrew and I. She even attended our wedding. Sam has such a sweet spirit and I have always LOVED her but life always seemed to send us different directions. Moving back to Ohio has me all kinds of excited but I am super excited about hanging with these two in the future. I knew just from seeing Brody in pictures and talking through Sam that he was just as gentle hearted as her and I couldn’t wait to get the four of us together.

We met for dinner at Easton (one of our fave places). It was so nice just to catch up and for Andrew and I to meet Brody. I love their story. I wont steal the thunder though and I will let Sam tell you.

“We met when we both worked at Old Navy. We were both in relationships at the time.  After those relationships both ended we hung with the same group of people. It was quite some time after that we started to take notice of each other more. Our first date was an Ohio State football game against Penn State. The night he proposed he took me to The Melting Pot at Easton and after we were walking around. We got behind the restaurant Brio and we walked into the big open area and music started playing. It was One Republic’s “Something I Need” and then he got down on one knee and I started crying! His cousin was hiding playing the music and even captured some pictures for us!”

Is that not perfect? I love that they are two people who just want to spend the rest of their life together doing the things they love. Sam has a real story of how she fought for what really makes her happy. It makes me ecstatic to see her with Brody because these two love each other. Their connection is real. I have no doubt in my mind that these two were made for each other. They compliment each other in the best way and I think you can even see it in their pictures.

We met at Jorgensen Farms in Westerville, OH for their pictures! It was a perfect 76 degree evening.

I am not gonna lie. I jumped up and down like a little kid over this. We found two very random chicken eggs. I mean not completely random because we were on a farm but they were laid up against the greenhouse which was pretty far from the chicken coop. I had to take their ring shots there. Is it not perfect? To me.. an egg.. represents NEW LIFE! And I so see that for these two! I find meaning in the craziest things… like wild turkeys.. I will save that for another day.. but I know that these two are on a path to TWO become ONE and I know God has all kinds of NEW ahead for them.
