Our Fall Adventure | Personal
November 4, 2019 , Personal
September and October are notorious for being the busiest months for photographers. It has been full and packed. For us, the business is just the beginning. We have 4 out of the 5 people in our families birthdays in less than 6 weeks. October 3rd, October 15th, November 12th and November 16th. We knew with weddings and all the celebrating we wanted to head to the pumpkin patch at some point. Our kids dealt with Strep throat once and then it circled back around again on the day we were supposed to go. With a full calendar and missing our only free opportunity we decided to get Em out of school early and go even though it said it was going to rain.
It was the second to last day Pigeon Roost was open and guess what? NO ONE WAS THERE. Not a soul. We had the entire place to ourselves. When we first got there the weather was fine. Then about 10-15 minutes in it started to pour. We came prepared and the kids and Andrew played in the rain and didn’t stop for a second. I am convinced the employees thought we were crazy. I hid in the corn play place with Jadd and kept him dry and warm. It was fun! It felt like we were camping! 😀
Enjoy a quick glimpse at our trip to the pumpkinless pumpkin patch. 😛 Yup.. no people.. and not one pumpkin for sale! HAHAA but we had fun!
Sharing, serving, and celebrating,
