I DO NOT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
No one does! Business is NOT about being perfect from the start but instead going on a journey. Business has a crazy way of shaping you and teaching you. The truth is those that are successful - success didn’t choose them - they chose success. You have what it takes because YOU can choose to go after it! Give yourself the grace to learn and the guts to stand back up every time you fall.
2. I DO NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE
This world we live in now is unreal when it comes to knowledge and the options you have! The ways to get educated are limitless. Do you remember the days that if you wanted to learn about something you had to go sit at the library for hours? No more of that! You can go do that if you want, but NOW that same world is right here at your finger tips. Podcasts, blogs, Google, YouTube, and social media! Whatever you feel you don’t know, it’s out there for you to learn! There are no excuses.
3. I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY
We know this can be overwhelming and it’s not a simple answer when there are so many different kinds of businesses and formats. The truth we know is that doors open when they are meant to. The resources come but only if you knock. We thought there was NO WAY we could open a venue because we truly had NO money. It wasn’t true. We started doing the free hard labor work we could do and walking through that door and opportunity after opportunity met us. Sometimes you just have to start walking! There are so many options out there like grants and SBA loans as well.
4. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME
But you do. The truth is it’s scarier then it seems because you have never lived it. Delegation will be your best friend one day. There are tools, apps and so much more to help you have a solid workflow and balance, you’ll learn as you grow. You’ll find that when you are fighting for your dream those small time consuming habits fade away and time shows up in unexpected places. Also, there is a way to do both! Look at us. We are a family of 5 with a full schedule of sports AND multi-business owners. There is always time! You just have to be willing to make it. How bad do you want it? Make goals of even 1 HOUR a week and watch time show up for you in new ways.
5. THEY ALREADY DO IT, SO I DO NOT NEED TO
No one else is you. Imposter syndrome is a real thing that keeps you quiet and from living your life the way it was intended. It’s not true. Your voice is needed in your circle. There are people waiting for their someone and that someone is you. Go and meet them. They are ready for you!
